The Open Source Symposium hosts the annual Texas Open Source Symposium - http://www.texasoss.org/. It's a group of people with a general interest in open source. The first Texas Open Source Symposium was held in San Angelo, TX in April of 2008. We are still getting off the ground in regards to technical and social meetings, but hopefully after getting a Software Freedom Day under our belt, we'll gain some more momentum.
