We need to source for location to celebrate the SFD 2008, which must be strategic for public to approach, ask questions, hands-on, etc. Can be at few different locations (or cities) throughout Sarawak.

Activities for the day are:
InstallFest on various open source OSes as well as software (firefox, openoffice.org, etc)
- demo machines for public to hand-on with various open source OSes and software
Q&A session with public on various open source questions
- Talks to public on various open source topics

Previous Years
2007 - This is our first Software Freedom Day (SFD) celebration at Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia which is organized by Kuching Open Source Community in collaboration with Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS). We are celebrating the SFD on 12th September 2007 (instead of 15th Sept due to fasting/Ramadan month) at the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology (FCSIT), UNIMAS.
