Coffs Harbour

2009

We will be doing the SFD thing again just not sure at this time what. We have register and will not put it out there for comment. If you have any ideas for us goto Club Linux website.

2008

Yes its that time again. This year we are going to keep it simple and low key. Our focus will on secondary schools in and around the region. We will be creating educational resources with Ubuntu CDs. The aim is to bring the awareness of the free software movement and to encourage the next generation to grow up with free software and to reject anything else.

We are almost ready to dispatch our SFD packages. The BBQ has been finalised and all is running smoothly. For more information you can goto our website - Club Linux Coffs Harbour

For the third year in a row, we will be holding a day of presentations and demonstrations about free software. This year the morning presentations will be focused on free software for home and general purpose use, and the afternoon will be devoted to free software for business and organisational use.

There will also be an announcement about a very exciting free software related development in the local Coffs Harbour IT industry. I can say no more at this time. You will just have to come along :)

Most organisation is taking place on the Club Linux Coffs Harbour website. Go there for more details as they become available.
